In 2014, UCSF affiliated with Children’s Hospital Oakland, bringing together two respected health care organizations with a common and valiant mission: to provide the highest-quality health care to all children in our communities, regardless of any identified status, including race, religion or financial status.

The foundation’s contribution will assist hospitals in providing medical treatments, therapies, and family support programs that are vital for children facing serious illnesses. The initiative builds on the foundation’s mission to protect, heal, and support children regardless of their social or financial background.
